Questions about this product?
The R2P RP900 is a competition turbocharger system designed specifically for BMW B58 Gen 2 and Toyota Supra A90 engines. Based on the Garrett G30-900 core, this turbo is designed for extreme builds aiming to reach up to 900 HP with reliability and instant response. Ideal for drag racing, track and high-performance projects where every tenth counts.
Features
- Dual ceramic ball bearings (CHRA) – Minimize friction and improve turbo response, virtually eliminating lag.
- Garrett G30-900 core – Competition technology with proven reliability in extreme environments.
- Capacity of up to 900 HP – Supports high-level builds without compromising thermal or mechanical stability.
- High-precision VSR balancing – Guarantees smooth operation and extends the service life of the assembly.
- Optimized turbine geometry – Reduces back pressure compared to the OEM turbo, allowing greater flow at high RPM.

Real-world performance
The B58's OEM turbo falls short on flow at high revs. The RP900 resolves this bottleneck with a larger-diameter turbine and ceramic bearings that allow it to come on boost sooner, widening the usable power band on both street and track. With pump gasoline it is possible to reach 600-700 HP; with E85 or methanol, it approaches the 900 HP limit.
Frequently asked questions
Is it a direct (Plug & Play) installation?
No. It requires modifications to the lubrication and cooling lines, manifold and downpipe. It is not compatible with the OEM position without adaptations.
Is an ECU remap mandatory?
Yes, absolutely. Without adapted engine management, the engine will not run safely or take advantage of the turbo's potential.
What power can I expect?
It depends on the fuel and the engine's internal components. With 98 octane gasoline, between 600-700 HP. With E85 or methanol and proper preparation, up to 900 HP.
